Looking back over my life I cannot really remember a time when I was not fascinated by various forms of art. Growing up in England I had the benefit of living near fine public art galleries where as children we would wander unrestricted looking at the many paintings and sculptures. My father was a very talented artist and although he encouraged us all to draw and paint it has only been in later years that I have explored my artistic ability .
While spending 2002-2003 in Scotland I joined an art group and found myself drawn to landscape painting because of the beautiful scenery around us
I have in recent years been working more in oils and find the vibrant colours and texture of the paint much to my liking.
I am an active member of the Lambeth Art Association, Gallery Painting Group, Brush and Palette Group and St. Thomas Elgin Artists Guild
